1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering an account or using any part of the FeeAlert platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal authority to enter into these Terms, and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Description of Service
FeeAlert is a fee management platform designed for Indian tutors and coaching centers. The Service enables users to:
- Manage student enrollment and fee records.
- Send automated fee reminder notifications via WhatsApp, SMS, and email.
- Collect payments online via Razorpay payment links.
- Generate and share payment receipts.
- Track payment history and outstanding dues.
3. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at contact@feealert.in of any unauthorized use of your account.
- You may not share your account with any third party or create accounts for others without their knowledge and consent.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send spam, unsolicited, or harassing messages to parents or students.
- Upload or transmit any false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
- Use the Service for any purpose other than legitimate fee management for your institution.
5. Payments & Billing
- Subscription fees (if applicable) are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law.
- Student payment collections are processed via Razorpay and are subject to Razorpay's platform fees and terms.
- FeeAlert is not responsible for payment failures, disputes, or chargebacks arising from Razorpay transactions.
- You are responsible for all applicable taxes on your earnings collected through the platform.
6. WhatsApp & SMS Messaging
By using FeeAlert's messaging features, you confirm that:
- You have obtained the necessary consent from parents/guardians to receive fee reminder messages on their WhatsApp and mobile numbers.
- You will only send messages for legitimate fee reminder and payment purposes.
- You comply with WhatsApp's Business Policy and all applicable messaging regulations including TRAI regulations in India.
- FeeAlert is not responsible for message delivery failures due to network issues, WhatsApp policy changes, or incorrect contact information.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the FeeAlert platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are the exclusive property of FeeAlert and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of all data you enter into the platform (student records, fee data, etc.). By using the Service, you grant FeeAlert a limited license to store and process this data solely to provide the Service to you.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FeeAlert shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use or inability to use the Service.
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
- Failed WhatsApp or SMS message deliveries.
- Payment processing errors or disputes.
- Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we determine you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or WhatsApp/Meta messaging policies.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at contact@feealert.in. Upon closure, your data will be deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uttar Pradesh, India.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting on our website or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
